According to the viewpoint of the official Iranian media, Iran has been the winner of the Iran-Iraq war, but for those who their lost loved ones, there was no winner or loser, the only thing which is still going on in their minds is the sufferings of war. Hence, the war will never be ending for those who lose their loved ones. During and even after the war, the families of men and young people killed in the war usually get together at the graves of their loved ones on weekends (Thursdays and Fridays) and weep in their memory, to the extent that this work has become a custom and a social value.
